The route between Pretoria and Cape Town is a 27-hour journey of 1 600 kilometres (994 miles), through some of the most diverse and spectacular scenery offered by the African sub-continent. On the southbound journey, guests arrive in Cape Town at 12h00. It stops for an off-the-train excursion at Kimberley.

This panoramic 3 400-kilometre nine-day South African sojourn departs annually in June. Travel from Pretoria eastwards to Malelane, south to Swaziland and Durban, west to Bloemfontein, then southwards again through Port Elizabeth, Oudtshoorn and George to Cape Town. After an early morning game drive through the Kruger Park, the train heads southwards to Swaziland for an afternoon game drive in Mkhaya Reserve.

This journey begins in Pretoria and travels east towards Nelspruit. Play at the Hans Merensky Golf Estate or visit the world famous Kruger Park.
This special three-day safari between Pretoria and Durban departs during the summer months and includes game drives in two varied and unique game reserves, a battlefields tour with a world class historian and a visit to an unusual African ceramics studio. Experience the diversity of the Nambiti Conservancy, a Big Five private bush retreat set on 20 000 acres of malaria-free bushveld in KwaZulu Natal.
